Okay, Angel got me thinking about popcorn balls so here's another variation. We used to make these a lot when we lived in Sumter. We delivered them anonymously to friends at Halloween. Unfortunately, we found out from some of them that they threw them away because they were afraid they were poisoned. Hence, we have stopped doing anonymous drop offs. You can also decorate them to look like pumpkins. 1 cup light corn syrup
3/4 cup sugar
1 pkg of small jello
3 bags of popped popcorn
Boil syrup with sugar for about a minute, just enough to dissolve. Turn heat off and add whatever flavor of jello you prefer. Let it cool down significantly. Next, butter your hands and roll into balls. Let them cool completely on wax paper. YUM!!! Yields one dozen.
